Trip Overview

Day 01:  Nairobi-Masai mara

At the start of our Kenya safari, you will be picked up from your Nairobi residence or hotel at 0800 hrs – a safari briefing session with our tour consultant then drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve as you enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley . Masai Mara game reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti, one of Kenya’s most favoured game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. Afternoon game drive to see the sun downer as you trail the Big 5 i.e. Lions in large pride, Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and numerous plain games. Dinner and overnight stay at chosen Accommodation.

Day 02:  Masai mara

We will spend a day exploring the Masai Mara, with its abundance of large mammals and diverse bird life. We have the option to either have full and complete days out in the field when lunch can be served out on the Savannah or we can return to camp for lunch. Big cats are a very prominent feature of the Masai Mara and also include Cheetahs and Leopards, both of which are fairly straightforward to find here. We are definitely at ‘Predator Central’ here and there can be few. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. Dinner and overnight stay at chosen accommodatio.
