Trip Overview

Day 01:  Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

At the start of our safari your guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel at 0730 hrs. After a safari briefing with our Tour officer and drive to Amboseli National park to arrive in good time for lunch. Lunch at chosen accommodation. Followed by extensive afternoon game drives.

Amboseli Park (at 392 sq km) is the second most popular park in Kenya after Maasai Mara, mainly due to the spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary. Dinner and overnight at chosen accommodation.


Day 02:  Amboseli National Park

Spend the full day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drive. All meal and overnight at chosen accommodation.

Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes.

Day 03: Amboseli - Lake Naivasha

Depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Lake Naivasha via Nairobi. After lunch and relaxation visit Hells gate National Park to photograph the beautiful landscapes /wildlife as you walk within the park. Hells gate national park is characterized by diverse topography and geological scenery. It has historically been an important home for the rare lammergeyer, but it is now thought that the famous pair of birds may not have nested in the park for several years.

One is encouraged to hike and cycle in the park. This is a rarity in Kenyan National Parks, and is only made possible due to the lack of such as lions and cheetahs.

Day 04: Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara

We depart the lodge soon after breakfast and head for a boat ride before traveling south through the beautiful savannahs and plains of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara to arrive the camp in good time for Lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken.

Day 05: Maasai Mara

Full day spent exploring the vast Masai Mara game reserve in search of the Big 5 and other wild game. Dinner and overnight at chosen accommodation 

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures

Day 06: Maasai Mara - Nairobi

Breakfast at leisure then travel to Nairobi where to arrive by 1500 hrs where the safari ends - Drop off point to be advised
